The environment of Pilar de la Horadada allows mountain bike tours in the countryside, with different levels of difficulty and length. Several dirt roads communicate the main town with the town of Pinar de Campoverde, offering tours through natural areas.
On the other hand, for those of you who like going cycling with your family or without going fast, the cyclotourism offers soft and peaceful paths and routes, mainly following the coastline. There are several seafront promenades, which can be done either on foot or by bike, allow enjoying the coastline with no danger and making refreshing stops on the beach.
In the Río Seco riverbed, hikers can found two marked routes, a circular route of four kilometres and another lineal of a total of 10 kilometres, which arrives until the natural area of the coastal town of Mil Palmeras. Along these routes we can observe how water eroded the rock and its effects on a substrate of compacted sand. In addition, we will find the botanical species, birds and little mammals and reptiles typical form this type of riverbeds.
